If you want to keep projects hidden, you have a few options:
Create projects in a dedicated studio: you can easily move between studios you have access to using the Switch Studio button
Use a dedicated folder and disable the library for your project: moving projects to a folder and enabling Hide from library (via the Setup tab) means any content won't appear in the library.
