Auto-generated subtitles are available to download in a separate file so you are able to share these externally with your video, or view your subtitles on your Seenit hosted video.

Where can I download the subtitles?

  1. On the Edits page locate the Edit (if you have multiple) for which you want the subtitles

  2. Go to the Subtitles tab

  3. Click on the Manage subtitles button

  4. When the file is ready you will see the option to 'Download file' under the Auto-generated option this will generate a VTT file

I noticed a mistake in the subtitles file and I want to change it, what do I do?

  1. Save the file that you have amended

  2. Go to the Subtitles tab

  3. Click on the Manage subtitles button

  4. Choose the Manual option

  5. Upload your new file

This will mean your new subtitles file will display corrected on Seenit Hosted videos

How do I use the subtitles file alongside the video on other platforms if the video isn't hosted?

  1. Check if the platform accepts VTT files, if they do you can upload them alongside your video file

  2. If the platform doesn't, then convert the file into an SRT file which should be accepted
