How to set up and use Branded Subtitles

Branded Subtitles lets your studio create an approved subtitle style for use across all your videos. This helps your team keep captions consistent and on-brand, without needing to style subtitles manually in every edit.

Before you start

Before creating a subtitle theme, make sure you have already set up a company brand theme with your chosen font and colours.

To do this:

  1. Click your studio avatar.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Open Branding from the left-hand menu.

  4. Create your company brand theme and upload your font and colours.

Set up a branded subtitle theme

  1. Go to Studio Settings.

  2. Click your studio avatar.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. In the left-hand menu, select Branding.

  5. Create a company brand theme.

  6. Upload your brand font and colours.

  7. In the left-hand menu, select Subtitles.

  8. Create a subtitle theme.

  9. Choose the subtitle settings you want to use.

  10. Save your subtitle theme.

View branded subtitles in the editor

Once your subtitle theme has been created, you can view it in the Subtitle Editor while working on your video.

This lets you preview how your subtitles will look before exporting and helps ensure the final video stays consistent with your studio branding.

You can use branded subtitles on all edits within the platform, whether that is those that are created using the classic or smart editor, or uploaded into the platform.
